People will buy my product since it give less stress and more time to do other things while reading might take hours to consume to your brain and to memorize. i think this is a good product since it can give people vast amount of knowledge in a short time then we would all have straight a student and everyone will have a education in matters of second. Other people may think is unnatural or immoral or against religion view but this is just like inserting a cd to your brain. So instead of taking decades to of school, college ,and etc this would save 2/10th of your live time and you have plenty of childhood left to spare.

Too much sugar turns off gene that controls the effects of sex steroids

<img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; The task has been an unusually daunting . Two children were diagnosed with a rare muscle-wasting disorder called Pompe disease. The affliction is so rare, that not only was there no medicine to treat it, but the big pharmaceutical companies weren't even thinking about developing drugs for it.

So John Crowley did the only thing he could. He rounded up some scientists, hit up venture capitalists, and started a company to develop a drug to save his children's lives. Not your typical names for fish often sold to people setting up their first aquariums. However, with a little gene mutation, most of these names are quite appropriate (we may never know for sure about uncle freddy, though. Small groups of scientists around the world have been working to generate embryos of zebra fish whose development was lethally interrupted by a single gene mutation.
The simplified process of achieving these embryos begins with taking a male zebra fish and dunking it in the chemical mutagen ethylnitrosourea. These fish are then bred to create mutated embryos. These mutations effected the embryos in a myriad of ways, such as miswired nervous systems, pigmentation defects, eye abnormalities, and tail malformations, and undeveloped muscles. Several mutations disrupted epiboly, the very first cellular movement of the embryo. The zebra fish embryo depends on a yolk-laden cell until they can feed themselves. During normal epiboly, the cells spread over the yolk. The research ultimately identified mutations in about 600 specific genes.

Many varieties of heart mutations were discovered. These mutants have established thathearts are assembled by sets of genes that are responsible for discreet parts of the organ. It is hoped that by researching the mutants, the scientists will be able to understand why congenital heart disease occurs in humans. Zebra fish with improper blood formation have also been developed. One mutated zebra fish named dracula died when it was exposed to light. The red blood cells became fluorescent and popped. It was originally though that this mutant developed no blood, but it was later discovered that if the fish was raised in he dark, it would have blood. However, an enzyme deficiency makes the blood pigment sensitive to light. There are related enzyme deficiencies, called porphyrias, that cause human diseases.

It is the hope of these scientists that by studying the mutated genes of these fish they will be able to identify and clone all of the genes used by a developing vertebrate embryo. In the past year, they have made many advances. They observed that the shield tissue of the zebra fish embryo signaled the animal cap to start developing into part of the nervous system. For the first time, a cell had been identified in the embryo that could induce neural tissue. By identifying the genes responsible for disturbed nervous systems in the mutants, the scientists hope to discover the exact nature of the signals.

Scientists have almost entirely mapped out the genetic structures of the zebra fish by studying the mutants. This knowledge allows them to hone in on the genes of the fish much faster. The faster the genes can be identified, the faster they can be cloned. The ultimate purpose of the zebra fish mutations is to clone vertebrates. Even though this has already been accomplished with Dolly, the infamous sheep, research has not stopped. Besides cloning live animals, scientists could replace mutated genes in humans that are causing diseases if they can effectively clone "healthy" genes. While the prospect of human cloning and its ramifications frightens many, gene cloning has other uses. Many now incurable diseases could be brought under control with the development of this new technology. It can take a lone researcher up to a year to clone a single gene, but new techniques are allowing this branch of science to develop much more rapidly. A group of scientists in Massachusetts hopes to be able to clone all the genes to make a vertebrate by 1999. It's amazing what science and a zebra fish names dracula can accomplish.

Elephantidae

Elephants are Kingdom: Animalia, Phylum: Chordata,Subphylum: Vertebrata,Class: Mammalia,Order: Proboscidea, Superfamily: Elephantoidea, and family is Elephantidae.

Elephants originally live in Asia and Africa, Asian elephants are the only surviving asian elephant genus. Officials at the Kruger National Park say that without action, the elephant population there will likely triple to 34,000 by 2020.

elephants have affected many of our culture and life, if you ever see the movie jumbo which was a a Disney classic for children everywhere about a elephant. Some elephants are used in war and battle in the past which was feared in most lands since war elephant are the biggest threat back then.

Beside all that elephants are smart and intellectual creature they can feel pain, love, and etc emotion as human so to me we shouldn't kill them or put them in cage since they can feel like our pets dog and cats. Thus accepting fact of evolution mean religon doesnt exist since religion has no evidence of it own. Rosemary protect your

brain from radical that can damage your brain. There a ingrediant in rosemary known as

carnosic acid that prevent you having stroke and neurodegeneration. also it can prevent you

from some bad effect on your normal aging brain which is bad. Rosemary came from a shrubby

evergreen bush and according to folklore it takesthe name from the Virgin Mary . Who draped

her cloak on the bush placing a white flower on top of the cloak which By the following morning,

the flower had turned blue and thereafter the plant was known as the “Rose of Mary.”

Rosemary are found in the Alps during the Middle Ages, has became part of European folk

medicine, and was thought to help the nervous system and ward off sickness. "Such holes drilled by predators can also be found in fossil shells."
The researchers also looked for repair scars on the shells of creatures that survived an attack.
The study was conducted by looking at studies which reported the frequency of drill holes and repair scars in fossil species from the last 550 million years.
First Huntley and Kowalewski found that predation increased notably about 480 million years ago, some 50 million years earlier than previous studies have found. "The earlier studies were based on changes in morphology -- predators with stronger claws and jaws and prey with more ornamented shells. We looked at the frequency of attacks, which increased about 50 million years before the changes in armor," said Huntley.
But the most notable discovery is the observation that the incidence of drill holes and repair scars are strikingly parallel to Sepkoski's diversity curve for marine invertebrates. This diversity curve, compiled by the late Jack Sepkoski of the University of Chicago, records the origination and extinction of marine animal genera through the last 540 million years (Phanerozoic). "There is a strong correlation between predation intensity and global marine biodiversity in the Phanerozoic," Huntley said.
In their article, "Strong Coupling of Predation Intensity and Diversity in the Phanerozoic Fossil Record," the researchers offer three rival hypotheses to explain the correlation. "It's the classic problem with interpreting a correlation," said Huntley "you have to be careful when ascribing a cause. Let's say factors X and Y are correlated. A change in X could cause a change in Y, a change in Y could cause a change in X, or X and Y could both be controlled by another factor."
The first hypothesis is that predation intensity could be driving diversity. "In this case, ecological interactions would matter in evolution," said Huntley. "Organisms evolve over the long term in response to their enemies, and with increased predation intensity more species evolve."
The second hypothesis is that as biodiversity increased, by chance predators with more complex feeding strategies evolved. "Predatory techniques like drilling and peeling shells are more evolutionarily-derived than more primitive forms of predation like whole ingestion. In this scenario you would expect to evolve sophisticated forms of predation only when diversity is high," said Huntley.
And the third hypothesis is that something else is driving both predation and biodiversity. "Some periods have more sedimentary rocks, and therefore more fossils, preserved than others," said Huntley. "There is less diversity to be observed when there are fewer fossils to study. Perhaps this sampling bias affects our ability to find samples with high predation intensities as well."
"Now we will try to pick this apart," said Huntley. "We can test these hypotheses by examining relevant linkages between predation intensity and diversity in modern oceanic environments. Also, understanding the true nature of Sepkoski's curve will help us interpret our findings. Is it biological? Is it the product of uneven sampling?"

Fire Ants Killing Baby Song Birds At High Rates

Science Daily — Red imported fire ants may be killing as many as a fifth of baby song birds before they leave the nest, according to research recently completed at Texas A&M University.
A young, white-eyed vireo lies in its nest. Pest & Mold Natural pesticide info & orderingwww.dfwx.com/boric.htm
Andy Campomizzi, graduate research assistant in the department of wildlife and fisheries sciences, studied black-capped vireos and white-eyed vireos in Coryell County over a span of two years Campomizzi kept records on a total of 72 nests of both species. Of the nests where there was no pesticide treatment, only 10 percent of the young birds fledged and were able to leave the nests. Of the nests with treatment to protect them from fire ants, 32 percent fledged. Nearly 70 percent are lost to other causes, and fire ants knocked the survival rate down an additional 22 percent.
"That was a bigger difference than we thought it would be," he said. "Fire ants were definitely a mortality factor for song birds."
The black-capped vireo – which breeds only in the Edwards Plateau of Texas, a couple of areas in Oklahoma and northern Mexico – is an endangered species. The white-eyed vireo is found more extensively throughout the southeastern U.S. and is not endangered.
In his research, Campomizzi would find nests with eggs and attach Arinix – a nylon plastic cable wrap developed for use in protecting electrical equipment from fire ants – around branches. Some of the wraps were permeated with permethrin insecticide and some not.
A sticky insect trap coating was applied to the branch on the limbs with the insecticide, so the ants could not get around the trap to the nest, he explained. Nests were isolated so access was limited to one or two routes for the fire ants, he said.
He checked the nests every three or four days. He counted the nest as a success if the adults could raise at least one of their young until it could fly out of the nest, which takes about 10 to 12 days from hatching.
Campomizzi believes fire ant predation may occur among any song bird species, although mortality rates would vary depending upon local populations of the red imported fire ant and how close to the ground the birds were nesting.
Management for black-capped vireos is ongoing on both public and private land, he said.
"Current management includes providing breeding habitat and removing brownheaded cowbirds, a brood parasite," Campomizzi said.
Land managers interested in improving black-capped vireo habitat may want to consider managing fire ants around nesting areas to increase the chances that they can successfully raise their young. This will perhaps contribute to the species' recovery from being endangered, he said..
The research was funded by the Texas A&M Institute of Renewable Natural Resources.
